About this trail
A lovely short loop through Haig Street Quarry Bushland Reserve, just five minutes from Ipswich CBD. The sealed path winds through mostly shaded forest and is flat throughout, making it a comfortable walk in most weather. The central pond is a remnant of the old quarry and draws a variety of water birds year-round. In spring the reserve comes alive with wildflowers. Scenic Rim views add a surprising backdrop for such a quick escape.
