About this trail

One of the best bush loops near Brisbane. The Devils Break Loop winds through open woodland and wildlife habitat corridor with rocky ridges and sweeping views across Brisbane and Ipswich on a clear day. The park holds deep cultural significance — its name comes from the Turrbal word for large water lizard. History buffs will enjoy finding the lone mango tree and burnt foundations that mark a pre-World War II workers camp. Wildflowers are spectacular in winter and spring. Signage is limited so bring a map. Sturdy footwear essential, muddy after rain. Dogs on leash. Parking in Chalcot Rd, Anstead QLD 4070
